I...Thank you for being brave enough to share this. I have found myself in some pretty heated arguments with those who believe vaccines cause autism - to the point that now I just avoid the subject entirely. It didn't seem to matter how much science and fact I provided they were not willing to move from their views. Now I don't mind other people having different views, but when it keeps us from advocating for or helping autistic individuals (children or adult) that is going too far.
